Punch: captions for coaches, fitness and founders

Built to land a point: one word at a time, in heavy capitals, the spoken word punched out in a coloured box.

Punch is the Subtightl caption style for coaches, fitness creators and founders. It shows a single word at a time in Anton capitals, with an accent box behind the word being spoken and a quick pop as each word lands.

Why Punch works

Punch is for talking-head videos that need to land a point: a coach counting reps, a founder making a claim, a trainer giving one instruction. Showing a single word at a time keeps the viewer's eye on the caption, and the box behind the spoken word reads even on a busy gym background.

Use Punch for

Less suited to: Long, calm explanations — one word at a time gets tiring after a minute. Clean or Soft suit those better.

Make it yours

The box comes in rose, yellow, lime or white, or any custom colour. Big and bold is the point, so most creators keep the size high and nudge the caption to the middle of the frame, away from the platform's buttons at the bottom. Size and position are yours too, and your last choice is remembered for the next video.
